Timbabuild® Epoxy Wood Stabiliser (EWS) is specially designed as a two-part,
low viscosity, solvent-free, resin primer designed to enhance
weakening wood fibers, penetrating deeper into the wood.
EWS is designed as a primer used in conjunction with Epoxy Rapid Cure (ERC10)
or with Epoxy High Build (EHB60) systems. After removing damaged, rotten, and painted
wood, using appropriate tools such as a router or chisel, is processed
the area is gently sanded to ensure excellent adhesion. The moisture content of the wood
should not exceed 18% (check using a standard moisture meter), and
wet wood must be allowed to dry naturally or dried using hot
an air blower. The two components are mixed manually in a separate container and
mixed thoroughly for a minute. It is important to strictly adhere to the 2:1 mix ratio. EWS has
to be applied with a regular brush and left to harden for at least 20 minutes.
Use disposable paint brushes – cleaning after use is impossible.
